Boyan Penkov

Boyan Penkov was born in Sofia, Bulgaria. He graduated from Cornell University in 2007, with a degree in Engineering Physics. As an undergraduate, he became an accomplished user of the Cornell NanoScience and Technology Facility, working with Dr. John Marohn, on the fabrication of cantilevers, magnetic tips and tunnel sensors for MRFM.

Outside of lab, Boyan enjoys remote travel, running and photography.
